The description makes it sound like an adventure game which it is not. I bought this for my 8 year old, mistake. I tried it and it was ok but overall I was disappointed.
The little bit of history on each of the Wonders is an added bonus. We all love to take turns playing 7 Wonders. If you like Bejeweled, you will love 7 Wonders. I actually bought two copies of this game. One for my parents who each just got a DS this year and a copy for my kids and I to share.
The gameplay is simple and intuitive, I love the little bits of history and have not been able to put this one down for long. This is the kind of game you can play for hours or simply pick up for a few min while waiting for an appointment or riding the train.
Liked this game and could'nt stop playing. If you liked bejewled you'll like this game.Has very cute characters on the screen graphics are good too.has 8 levels with about 5 sub levels to them.Buuut just wish it had alot more like bejewled does. But guess you can test your skills over and over.Am on a second round and it told me the levels would be a little harder so far they dont seem to be alot different on the start.I like it altho some dont like the match 3 type games.Speed and eye sight is the key.It is timed but does'nt show you a timer so you can see what you have left."Sooo, ya gotta work as fast as you can to eliminate all the bricks.Ya i'd recommend it".
Winning the game gives us a seance of accomplishment. I found 7 wonders a fun game I like the emotions the workers have I find the buildings fun to watch the changes as we complete the stages of the game. I can not wait till I can get the second one My grandson sits in my lap and we spend time together matching the game pieces.
